We have been docked at Bitung in Indonesia all day today. The drums and singing, from the pier, woke me up at 7:00a, and barely stopped all day. When we sailed away at 6:00p, the cruise terminal (which was packed with jumping/waving people all day) was sold out. Cant quite remember anything like it. Even some iPhone “flashlight waving”. I’m guessing cruise ships are relatively rare here, purely speculation on my part.
