Our first stop is St Lucia. We go on a tour of the rain forest, both by aerial gondola and on foot.

600 species of plants, birds, etc.  Our young guide was quite enthusiastic, and it was infectious.  (Ooops, not a good word to say these days)

The vine growing up the side of the tree is vanilla.
