We were shown some of the tech stuff and monitors at Timing & Scoring, at the finish line. The track is embeddd with receivers, which get signals from each car’s transponders. And the cameras take 10,000 pictures per second. Which comes in handy when there’s a race when one car wins, at 200 mph, by about 3 inches.
