Speaking of the last post (Helen asking us where we were from), we quite frequently have gotten inquiries: “y’all aren’t from around here, are y’all?” (I wonder how they know? 😎). Always asked seriously and without a trace of disapproval, and yes, “y’all” can occur two or three times in the same sentence. It’s utterly charming, especially considering the outgoing friendliness that accompanies it.
