As feared, Cairns weather has once again not smiled on us. Our train journey was wiped out, due to “flash flood conditions, which could trigger landslides on the train tracks.” However, the substituted shore excursion turned out to be terrific - “Skyrail” from Kuranda back down to sea-level Cairns. Barron falls ought to be more widely known, pretty impressive.
When Lynn and I had this view, the falls were not falling. It was dry! Cool to see it in all its glory! - Mike
