Today we’re in Nelson, on the east coast of the South Island. We took a catamaran to Abel Tasman (yes, as in “Tasmania”) National Park, and took a long flora and fauna hike. (The bird in the last pic is not a kiwi, but a similarly shaped weka. Kiwis are nocturnal and are unfortunately very endangered)
