We are not off to the best of starts.

Early this morning Barbara smacked her lower leg into the edge of the bed frame at our first hotel, so we are spending the first day of the trip ( or at least several hours thereof) getting her stitched up, at Providence Hospital.  Let’s hope we’re just getting any bad stuff out of the way early.
