Opatija is another beautiful seaside community, although relatively new - it "came of age" with the rise of tourism in the late 1800's. Famous names who favored Opatija include Isadora Duncan, Lord Byron, and Albert Einstein, to name a few. We also visit a tiny nearby village named Mosceniča, population: 94.
