Ok, all good things must come to an end. We ended with the odometer at 6649, and we started with 3807, so 2,842 total miles. (Yes, I tried to just set the trip odometer, but it as it turns out you can’t just push the skinny little dash button any more, no, that’s far too simple. And I don’t have a slide rule and a post-graduate degree in quantum physics required to figure out the new method, so just went with old-fashioned arithmetic)

Millennium Park. The Bean is ok I guess, lots of interesting reflections depending on your angle. Not sure about the giant face spitting on people though.

I like the ballet stuff. Degas’ dancer girl has just so much attitude. Really delightfully snooty, especially for a 14 year old.

Oops, somewhere between the Harley Davidson museum and the architectural boat tour.....I probably should have mentioned that we drove from Milwaukee to Chicago. Well, we did.

The essentially transparent Apple Store blends right in, in front of the wonderful Tribune building.

We did a wonderful architectural boat tour, with a guide identifying and discussing architectural styles. The amount I do not know about architecture is immense, this was very helpful and informative!
